Fitness Motivation: Practice this mindset hack daily for a positive shift

My recent Instagram post was inspired by a tweet I made the other day. It is an original short quote I made that states:

“Replace I have to workout with I get to workout.”

Practicing this changed me for the better. Not only towards my workouts but in all areas of my life. The reason this is so powerful is that it shifts your whole mentality. In addition to the mentality shift, it will also improve your gratitude and attitude.

Here is why you want to improve those two things as I shared on Instagram.


A 2015 study found that practicing gratitude has positive effects on your body. Researchers linked gratitude to lower blood pressure, fewer aches and pains, and improved immunity.


Multiple studies have shown an indisputable link between having a positive attitude & health benefits such as lower blood pressure, less heart disease, better weight control & healthier blood sugar levels.

What next?

Tell yourself this on your workout days, before you go to work, or before you start a project. It will take time but you will appreciate everything more and that, in turn, will make you stronger, healthier, and naturally improve your attitude.
